Welcome to Cal Fine Arts ....
J. Addison Gayer
Cal Fine Arts features contemporary artist Jesse Addison Gayer, who works in oils, watercolor, pastel, and charcoal mediums.
Mr. Gayer is influenced by many styles, from Impressionism: French and American, (particularly Californian), to Post Impressionism, and to the work of the California Regional Scene Painters.
He dabbles in abstractions at times, but always attempts to include figurative elements in these works to achieve the desired mood.
Emotion, and the underlying drama of life, both personal and observed, is what he aims to express to the viewer in the diverse styles of his works.
